Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is the daughter of British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby (born in Paris) and Chris Watson (born in Paris). When she was a kid she was enrolled in at the Dragon School in Oxfordshire. At the age of six, Emma realized that she wanted to be an actress and for a number of years she studied at the Oxford branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts a part-time theater school, where she learned performing and singing. As early as age ten she was involved and played the leading role in several Stagecoach Productions and School Plays. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) was the movie version to J.K. Rowlings bestselling novel was filmed for first time in 1999. Casting agents discovered Emma by way of her Oxford theatre teacher. David Heyman informed Emma, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint following auditions for 8 times. They were chosen to play three leads Hermione Gringer Harry Potter Ron Weasley. The debut of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) was Emma's debut on the screen in cinema. It was also the film that was most popular of 2001.
