Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew as a child in Mexico with a family that was devoted to music. Growing up she was influenced by classical music, boleros and the classic romantic, ranchero, as well as romance ballads. Ana enjoys tangos and the dramatic and opera performances. At the age 16, she began to sing and study music with her mother. Flavio, a Mexican Tenor with a renowned reputation, began to give her more intense vocal instruction. In Guadalajara she studied at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara as well as in Toluca in Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. In her early career, she included performances with a variety of opera choruses, chamber groups in Guadalajara. She was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to southern California. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and often performs as a soloist in the traditional Latin American music at private occasions. The love she has for singing, music and the arts keeps active in community projects both as an artist and teacher. Ana is also a former member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana is a fan of the traditional Latin American songs and hopes to encourage other people to follow in her footsteps.
