MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has been able to make major international breakthroughs into the Latin pop scene. Una Lady Como Tu, the song that he released in 2016, received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Favorite Song. In 2017, he released ADN, his first long-player with La Industria Inc. in Medellin. It reached the top 8 spot according to the Top Latin Albums Chart. He then joined Ozuna to record his Top Five smash Vaina Loca. He released in 2020 his second album charting Dopamina and also collaborated on Mala Influencia along with Noriel. In 2021, he appeared in a duet with TINI on her cult stream single Maldita Foto. 2000, which featured the smash record La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo's brother and mother were musicians at the time the time he was born. According to Turizo, music was a mandatory part of his life. He learned how to play the guitar, saxophone piano, and ukulele as an infant. Though his original goal was to be a vet, his brother Julian convinced to him take singing lessons from the famous Cuban.
