Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit, an Indian actress who is famous for her role in Hum Aapke Hing Koun (Beta Saajan) and Beta Saajan is one of the most renowned Indian actors. She started her career in the 1980s and came to popularity with her role in the Tezaab film, where she starred alongside an established actor Anil Kapoor. Next, she appeared with Aamir as part of Dil. Born into a middle-class family in Mumbai she took up dancing at an early age. While she was young, she started acting but was not successful as a lot films she made were unpopular. However, she eventually achieved success and became one of the leading actors in the Indian film industry. She took a break from her acting career after the wedding before returning to the world of entertainment. In recent times, she was the main character in Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit received 15 nominations for Filmfare Awards. She won eight of the awards. Padma Shri is the fourth most prestigious civilian award in India. Social work by her is known to the world.
