Elizabeth Gillies (born Elizabeth Gillis) is an American singer, actress and songwriter. Her most well-known work is her roles as Lucy in the musical 13 as well as Jade West in the Nickelodeon sictom Victorious. She began her professional career as a commercial actress. The Black Donnellys (2007) was her first appearance on television. The character was Jade West from 2010-13 in the Nickelodeon show Victorious. For her performance in Sofia Coppola's Somewhere, she received a Critics Choice Movie Award nomination in the year 2010. The lead role as the title character in Super 8 earned her recognition at the Hollywood Terrorist Festival in the year 2011. The role she played was the main one as the titular character We Bought a Zoo, Ginger & Rosa and Maleficent.
